About the Program
Emike Nurse Assistant Training Institute offers a California Department of Public Health (CDPH)-aligned Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) designed to prepare students with the required theory and clinical instruction to qualify for the California Nurse Assistant Certification Examination.
The program follows state-approved curriculum standards, emphasizing patient safety, infection control, communication, and basic nursing skills required in long-term care and healthcare settings.

Remote-Online-based instruction covering required nurse assistant topics, policies, and procedures.
Clinical Training
Supervised hands-on clinical experience conducted in CDPH-approved healthcare facilities.

Instructional Staff
- All instruction is provided by qualified Registered Nurse (RN) instructors who meet CDPH instructor requirements, including:
- Current California RN /LVN licensure
- Required clinical and teaching experience
- Ongoing compliance with state training regulations
- Instructor supervision is maintained throughout both theory and clinical components of the program.
RN /LVN Instructor
Qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with current California licensure and approved teaching and clinical experience.
Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate safe and effective nurse assistant skills
- Apply infection control and safety procedures
- Communicate appropriately with patients and healthcare team members
- Accurately observe, report, and document patient information
- Understand ethical and legal responsibilities of nurse assistants
- Completion of the training program does not guarantee certification or employment
- Certification is issued by the State of California, not the training institute
- Clinical placement is subject to facility availability and approval
Completion of the program allows students to apply for the California Nurse Assistant Certification Examination, subject to state requirements.
